Welcome to my substack! “Diary of an Emotional Eater” is well, pretty self explanatory. Ive been cooking professionally for 9 years and eating emotionally since the day I was born. Here I will share stories, poems, confessions, and the like about the moments that have inspired me most to cook. Things like, “What do I cook when my crush is coming over?” “How do I make a conflict resolution cake?” Or why I believe spicy food is essential to moving through grief. This page will be a welcome safe haven for people with big hearts and even bigger appetites.

Recipes have been tested and developed by yours truly, and I have made many mistakes so you don’t have to. They will include helpful substitutions and tools. More importantly I believe the best way to cook is to use what you have on hand, and the recipes will reflect that.
